    Rules For Leave and Absence

  • 01 Every absence (Sick leaves or otherwise) must be entered briefly in the NON-ATTENDANCE LEAVE RECORD pages towards the end of this diary and signed by the parent or guardian along with a written leave application.
  • 02 Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than fifteen consecutive days renders the student liable to have his / her name struck off the rolls; Readmission, if granted, will be done on payment of fresh admission fee.
  • 03 Those who come late must show their REGULARITY RECORD duly filled and signed by the Principal/Teacher In-charge.
  • 04 All are expected to attend class on the opening day after each of the vacations. Those who are absent without leave will be fined at the rate of Rs. 100 per day. Those who are absent because of any sickness must present a medical certificate before they are admitted to the class.
  • 05 ⁠Absence for more than three days immediately after a vacation renders the students liable to have his / her name struck off the rolls.
  • 06 ⁠⁠Half-day leave will not be granted to students. If once they come to school, they have to attend the whole day. They are not allowed to go out of school campus during school hours, including recess time. In case of serious illness, the Principal must be informed within five days, with a Doctor's certificate, accompanied by the leave ap plication from parent.
  • Articles found in the school are to be handed over to the principal or receptionist.
    Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and at all school functions.
    Parents are strictly enjoined not to interview children or their teacher in class, without the permission of Principal.
    Pupils may not be taken away from class by anybody without an application from parents or guardians.
    All pupils must take part in drill and outdoor games.
  • Code Of Conduct

  • 01 ⁠By belonging to this school I shall be loyal to it. It shall be my constant endeavour to uphold the honour and the traditions of my school.
  • 02 I shall conduct myself with due respect to the school authorities and staff, greet them and obey their legitimate orders.
  • 03 As cleanliness is next to Godliness, I shall be clean and take good care of my books and other belongings. I shall keep my school and its surroundings as clean as possible.
  • 04 I shall be punctual to the school.
  • 05 ⁠I shall always be truthful, and never give or take dishonest help.
  • 06 ⁠I shall always be ready to lend a helping hand at home to my parents, brothers and sisters and in school to my teachers and campanions.
  • 07 I shall never use bad language but always speak politely. Using 'Sorry', 'Thank you', 'Please', 'Pardon Me', 'May I', 'Can I',etc. as often as I can.
  • 08 I shall practice tolerance and brotherliness.
  • 09 I shall not leave the class without the teachers permission and the school without the Principal's permission.
  • 10 I know that writing or scrubbing on the walls and furniture is a serious offence. So I shall refrain from it.
  • 11 ⁠I shall work hard and study my lessons regularly without putting off the day's work for the next day.
  • 12 I shall not eat or chew anything during the, class.
  • Discipline

  • 01 The school premises should always be kept neat and clean. Everyone must take care to throw wastepaper or any waste material into the wastebasket or bins provided.
  • 02 Students are strictly forbidden to purchase any article of food and other things from unauthorized vendors.
  • 03 Any kind of damage to the school property must immediately be reported and must be repaired.
  • 04 Once if the students come to school, they will not be allowed to go home before time for attending functions like marriage and other social or religious ceremonies. They shall attend the whole session.
  • 05 . The school calendar issued to the students is to be kept neat and tidy all through the year and to be brought to school every day.
  • 06 . It is the means of communication between the school authorities and the parents.
  • 07 . The students are prohibited to bring any electronic devices like mobile phone, cameras etc.
  • 08 . They are not supposed to wear any fancy item or ornaments. The students are not allowed to use or consume things like pan masala, chewing-gum etc.
  • 09 . The medium of instruction being English, the language spoken in the school premises is ENGLISH.
  • 10 . The students must have proper care of hair at all times, avoid long nails, colouring nails and other modern fashion styles. Boys shall avoid long hair and modern style.
  • Dismissal

  • 01 Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or defiance of authority, lack of sufficient improvement in studies and conduct even after warnings, and conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
  • 02 A student who fails more than once in the same class shall be removed from the school. The decision of the principal shall be final in this matter.
  • 03 Any student dismissed from the school on disciplinary grounds shall be mentioned in the Transfer Certificate.
  • Promotion

  • 01 ⁠Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole years work of the pupil. The average marks of the examination are taken into consideration and only the child who secures an average of 40% per subject will be promoted.
  • 02 ⁠⁠Results declared at the end of the year are final for all cases, and will not be reconsidered, nor will the answer scripts be shown.
  • 03 ⁠No, examination will be taken either before or after the scheduled time.
  • 04 ⁠Failure in more than one subject especially in English is a sufficient reason for not granting promotion.
  • 05 ⁠Answer scripts of the final examination will not be shown at all.
  • 06 ⁠If a child does not have 75% attendance he/she will not be considered for promotion.
  • 07 ⁠ ⁠Any kind of malpractice in the examination is punishable with expulsion from the Examination Hall and subsequent cancellation of the paper or the whole examination.
  • Rules For Parents

  • 01 ⁠Parents are requested not to enter the class rooms and interview the teachers during class hours, do not ask the servants to do the same.
  • 02 ⁠Co-operation between parents and school authorities is of paramount importance for a child's successful school career.
  • 03 ⁠ ⁠Parents are joint educators to instill in their children noble ideals, a sense of good discipline and polite behaviour.
  • 04 ⁠⁠If they feel that their child is not making the desired progress, the principal should be contacted.
